Act 1 1. Trio & Recitative: Susanna is unable to keep the Count and Basilio from finding Cherubino, and the Count furiously realizes the page has heard him wooing Susanna. |
Act 3 7. Recitative: Claiming his noble parents must be notified before he can marry, Figaro shows proof of his "illustrious birth," with surprising results. |
2. Trio & Recitative, continued. | 8. Duet: "Sull' aria:" The Countess dictates a note for Susanna to send to the Count requesting an appointment that evening in the "pine grove." |
3. Aria "Non piu andrai:" Figaro sends Cherubino off to his new military career. | 9. Recit and March: Antonio, the gardener, claims Cherubino jumped on his geraniums. But claiming he jumped first and Cherubino copied him, Figaro leads Susanna and the assembled group on the wedding march. |
Act 2 4. Aria "Voi che sapete:" At the Countess's request Cherubino sings a love song he has composed as Susanna accompanies on the guitar. |
Act 4 10. Recitative: Marcelllina and Figaro Figaro is enraged to learn of Susanna's appointment with the Count. |
5. Recitative: Count and Countess Having sent Cherubino to an adjoining room, the Countess tries to calm the suspicions of her husband, who has found her chambers locked. | 11. Figaro's aria excerpt in which he warns men to keep their eyes open. |
6. Finale: The Count demands silence so he can read the contract Marcellina has presented which states that Figaro must marry her or pay back money she loaned him. | 12. Recitative: Knowing he is hiding nearby, the Countess and Susanna tease Figaro about the "appointment" in the pine grove with the Count. |
13. Finale: Having forgiven the Count at last, the Countess and Count lead all in the garden with wishes of love for all. | |
